Synopsis

The story centres on a young Tunisian woman, Chama, who has just graduated in sociology and is looking for a job. She accepts temporary employment as the typist of a manuscript written by a novelist who lives in Bizerte.

Abdelatif ben Ammar’s first feature film ‘A Simple Story’, was selected in competition at Cannes Film Festival in 1970. Ben Ammar directed five more feature films and numerous shorts.
