Synopsis

Zahra is the portrait of a Palestinian woman from Galilee. The film begins with her childhood before the war of 1948. Through her eyes, over time, we see the radical transformation of Palestinian society from a majority to a minority deprived of their civil rights.

The director:

Mohamed Bakri is an actor and director. His documentary, «Jenin, Jenin», which received an award from the Carthage Film Festival in 2002, was his directorial debut.
