Synopsis

After the revolution of January 14th, a group of young Tunisians rappers try to make their voice heard through songs that express the daily suffering of people. Meanwhile, high school students seek to alleviate this suffering, by taking initiative beyond their narrow environment, and that allows them to prove their existence as positive actors in society.

Réalisateur

Born in Gafsa in 1979, Abdallah Yahya studied at the Higher Institute of Arts and Multimedia in Manouba. He is an assistant director of series and tele-films for the Tunisian television and on production of foreign films with directors such as Jean Jacques Annaud on the film Black Gold. We are here ... is his first documentary film.
