Synopsis

Two young friends who dream of "burning’, that is to say, leave their countries to Europe, in order to escape confinement and plugged horizons in search of Eldorado, for a better life, elsewhere. They firmly believe that it is the solution to their problems... and nothing will stop them. But between the project and its implementation, there are many obstacles and risks.

Réalisateur

Born in Algiers, Moussa Haddad then worked in television as an assistant director on The Battle of Algiers (1966) by Gillo Pontecorvo and the Foreigner (1967) by Luchino Visconti, and as a co-director with Enzo Peri on Three guns against Caesar (1967). To his credit, a dozen films for television and cinema including The holiday Inspector Tahar (1973) and next to populus (1972), became an example to follow in that period.
