Synopsis

A talented young sculptor who maintains his family and pays for his sister’s studies, Makam wins one day in the lottery. He put all his energy to find his lost ticket before realizing that his encounter with the beautiful Sira, who read to her illiterate father is far more important than this piece of paper.



Réalisateur


Dominique Philippe was born in France. He holds bachelor degree in Cinema and Audiovisual Studies at the “Université Sorbonne Nouvelle” in Paris. As part of the company he founded in Bamako, “Babel Films”, he produced feature and institutional films. He has taught staging and cinematic language at the “Conservatoire de Bamako”.
