Synopsis

Seeking the views of the other side of the curtain has led the documentalist to the southern border between Morocco and Spain through Burkina Faso and Mali. A journey to these borders, a refugee voyage. It begins in three countries in West Africa, where corrupt politicians leave their campaign lead by French entrepreneurs, and in which the most extreme poverty drives people to flee.

Réalisateur

Filmmaker and photojournalist, Leona Goldstein, born 1976, studied communication in Rome, Berlin and Dortmund. She is involved in feminist and anti-racist struggle. Addressing issues of migration, gender equality, social movements and resistance, she worked, among other things in Afghanistan, Rwanda, Cambodia, Venezuela, Cuba and the Ivory Coast.
