After ten years of absence, Jacques reappears again in the life of Mado, now married and mother of Paul, a boy of seven years old. The relationship of the former couple is messed up by the grief of a child. While Mado has rebuilt her life, Jacques seems unable to do so and when he meets Paul, it’s a shock. Complicity more marked between Jacques and Paul eventually disturbs Mado who prohibits them to meet again. But Jacques does not stop there.

Réalisateur

One of the most esteemed French actresses of her generation, Sandrine Bonnaire made her name playing complex and often rebellious women for such directors as Claude Chabrol, Maurice Pialat, Agnès Varda, and Patrice Leconte. She directed a documentary « ELLE S’APPELLE SABINE » and a feature film « J’ENRAGE DE SON ABSENCE ».
