Synopsis

Réalisateur


Born in Algeria, Ahmed Rachdi is one of the pioneers of The Algerian cinema. General Director of ONCIC from 1967 to 1971, he produced and Costa-Gavras and Youssef Chahine. In 1981, he produced for Algerian television the series, Barbed wire, followed by It was the war (1992). His other movies: Dawn of the Damned (1965) Opium and the stick (1969), The Finger in the gear (1974), Ali in the land of mirages (1979), The mill of Mr Fabre (1984) Ben Boulaid (2009).
