Synopsis
In the mountains of Kabylia during the colonial occupation, the last groups of Berber resistance surrendered in front of the French invasion. The villagers were hunted and dispossessed of their land. Baya, daughter of the spiritual guide of the community, imposed herself as a face of the fierce resistance.
Réalisateur
Azzeddine Meddour (1947 - 2000). Graduated from VGIK, Moscow. Upon his return to Algeria in 1978, he joined the Algerian Radio where he directed numerous short films and documentaries.
