CCF in Prisons

Conversing, dreaming, moving forward…

JCC offers the occasion to the incarcerated population as well.
A new innovation brought by the program of the present session of JCC: movies will be projected in four prisons (Borj Erroumi, Mornaguia, Mahdia and the women's prison in Manouba). Movies as well as producers (or actors), accompanied by facilitators from the International Organization against Torture, will get into those creepy, overcrowded and enclosed spaces to offer a moment of dreams to men and women "temporarily" deprived of their freedom. An opportunity to visit the great outdoors, the world of colors and movement. The ability to express oneself, to prove oneself and to maintain a "fleeting" link with the events of the << outside world>> and thus reinforce their capacity to exceed, to reconstruct and to keep faith in life.

Cinema is also faith and… exceeding !
