Network of Arab Alternative Screens (NAAS )
Launched in 2009 in Beirut (Lebanon), NAAS brings together 12 movie theathers based in 8 Arab
countries, presenting rich film programs that engage and challenge their audiences.
NAAS holds 2 programs in partnership with the Carthage Film Festival:
- The NAAS Prize will be awarded to 2 films from the competition: supporting the distribution and
exhibition of both films in network member theaters.
- Under the title: Alternative Screens, Innovative Models, and Young Audiences, NAAS holds two days
of semi-public discussions, exploring innovative programming strategies for young audiences.
