Since 2011, the director tracks the subjects of his earlier documentary ‘Living among Us’ (2003). Over the years, he carried his camera and started a journey to trace the daily life of his characters documenting through 2 generations the declining of the situation over the most inflamed 13 years in Egypt modern history and until this day.

Soliman graduated from the Higher Cinema Institute (1997). He has published several essays and three short stories collection. Soliman has written and directed 5 documentaries and short films that won more than 32 prizes, among it Locarno Film Festival.
