Talibès is the story of Fallou who has been sent from Senegal to London by a marabout linked to Boko Haram. Fallou will discover London’s energy, music and people. He will make new friends, fall in love and eventually make a choice: stay faithful to his religion or embrace the exciting life of this new city.

Alassane Sy was born in Mauritania but relocated to Senegal with this family in the 1980s to escape civil unrest. In his late teens Alassane moved to Paris and then later New York, where he embarked on a successful career as a model.
