SYNOPSIS

A young Senegalese scholarship student returns from France, questioning what he

has learned and forgotten. The film honestly, courageously, and humorously explores

the challenges facing African youth in light of new realities.

Senegalese director Ababacar Samb Makharam, a prominent African cinema

figure, passed away at 53. His films include Et la Neige N’était Plus (1965), Kodou

(1971), and Jom (1981).
