L’byessa

Creative documentary

Tunisia, France

«L’byessa» is a deep immersion into the lives of the youth in Mhammedia, a Tunisian suburb marked by its social and economic contrasts. This documentary aims to explore the complex realities of these young people, caught between aspirations for a better life and the challenges of a daily life marked by marginalization. Through the lens of drug consumption and the desire to emigrate, «L’byessa» seeks to shed light on the struggles, dreams, and resilience of a generation often overlooked by dominant discourses.
