The salt of the south dive deep into the heart of a family linked to the sea, between two continents and two generations, confronted with the inexorable degradation of the environment. It highlights the resilience of Fathia, a marine farmer in southern Tunisia, while her son Fadhel, a former fisherman, is seeking climate refugee status in Europe.

Rami Jarboui, a Tunisian filmmaker born in 1990, graduated in Multimedia from ISAMM in Tunis. His short films include the awardwinning «Soup», «Eidos», «Retro», and «About the Strange City», all selected at international festivals.

Ramzi Laâmouri est un médecin et producteur de films axé sur la justice climatique. En 2017, il a produit le court métrage Here or Elsewhere, réalisé par Ahmed Jlassi. En 2024, il a cofondé Phi Films et a produit «Cursed Tomatoes» réalisé par Marwa Tiba.
