–  Born in 1983 in Casablanca, Ayoub Layoussifi is an author, actor and director. Trained at the Actors Studio, he obtained a Master’s degree in Directing from Paris VIII University. He co-directed the short film Chikha in 2024 selected in several international festivals.

–  Born in Brussels in 1980 to Moroccan parents, Zahoua Raji studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels, she worked as a technician in the Moroccan film industry. In 2024, she co-directed her first short film, Chikha, with Ayoub Layoussifi. She currently lives in Paris

Logline : Hassan, a man in his sixties from Tangier, lives in Casablanca and is struggling with his heroin addiction. After an overdose and a rehab, he decides to change his life to not disappoint his family. As his son Mansour prepares for his marriage, Hassan is threatened by dealers to whom he owes a large sum of money. Desperate, he steals the dowry money from his son.
