SAHAR EL ECHI  : Sahar El Echi lives and works in Tunis. Visual artist, filmmaker. She studied graphic design and communication at the Institut Supérieur des Beaux-Arts in Tunis. Director of independent films (Mutation, Entre-deux, Correspondances and Manwella), and recently Bord à Bord, in official competition at the JCC

Logline :  Fatma, a 38-year-old oceanographer, returns to Tunisia after years abroad on a research mission. Returning to his country awakens feelings about his family and heritage. Fatma, who has long escaped family conflicts over inherited land, is confronted with resentment and family expectations. She rediscovers a Tunisia in full mutation, profoundly different from the one she had left.
