Synopsis
Manena, a teenager from a wealthy Chilean family, spends the summer with her father Pancho, who is obsessed with eliminating the carp invading his artificial lagoon. As he resorts to increasingly extreme methods, Manena experiences her first romantic feelings and becomes aware of the social reality around her: the quiet struggle of the Mapuche workers fighting for access to the land, in direct opposition to her father.
