Karim, one of the last young people to connect with icons of the Beat Generation, returns to Tangier to tunearth their traces. Using -25yr-old preserved photos, he delves into the intimate moments between Paul Bowles and his Moroccan encounters. Meeting each one, we sense the intensity of relationships filled with both light and shadow. This journey unveils their stories and reveals how Tangier itself was shaped by—and shaped—their lives.

INTENTION NOTE : In 1991, I met Paul Bowles in Tangier. Our friendship shaped my life, leading to years spent with him and his Moroccan encounters. After my film studies in Germany, I returned to honor their legacy, capturing the essence of their lives
