Documentaire
Cameroun ,France ,RDC
GOMA, ENOUGH ! explores the daily lives of Congolese in search of peace, an ideal long dreamt of by figures such as Patrice Lumumba. Ten years after the defeat of the M23, this group, supported by Rwanda and Uganda, is rekindling the violence in the DRC, forcing more than seven million people to flee to Goma. Faced with this betrayal, Congolese youth opposed the war.
INTENTION NOTE : I was born and raised amid war, my mother giving birth to me in a forest after fleeing horror on foot. Fourteen years later, I survived the Kiwanja massacre, where CNDP rebels killed more than 150 people. I witnessed the beheading of my friends and fled to Goma with my brothers. Today, as a resident of Goma, I pick up my camera to document the quest for peace of my brothers and sisters, exhausted by the endless war.
