In the mountains of western Tunisia, Zina and her daughter Najiba are accused of murdering the father. They find themselves at the center of an investigation led by Karima, a determined prosecutor committed to uncovering the truth behind this complex case. The investigation, which unfolds over the course of a week, quickly takes the form of a tense and oppressive closed-door drama set in an untamed wilderness, as troubling family secrets resurface

Ines Ben Othman is a film director specializing in documentaries. Committed and activist, she has worked to shed light on social taboos and the struggles of the most deprived ones, who often lack the means to denounce injustices. Seven Days is her first feature film.
