The 36th edition of the Carthage Film Festival pays tribute to filmmaker and theatre artist Fadhel Jaziri (1948–2025) through the screening of two major works in which he took part. The first is La Noce (1978), a film created by the Nouveau Théâtre collective, restored and presented for the first time in Tunisia. The second is Traversées (1982) by Mahmoud Ben Mahmoud, in which Jaziri plays the leading role. Both films bear witness to Jaziri’s distinctive on-screen presence.
