Bakyt Mukul - Dastan Zhapar Uulu - Kyrgyzstan
After living in the USA for 15 years, Azat flies to Kyrgyzstan to his family village. It was his dying father’s wish Murat to pay back the money he owed to the villagers. Azat discovers the family home derelict and Choro, the younger brother of Murat, who was not very popular among the villagers and was imprisoned because of Murat. He shows up when the most important question about Murat’s will is decided.

Bakyt Mukul, born in 1965, is an actor and filmmaker. He was a member of the Union of Filmmakers of the Kyrgyz Republic. «A Father’s Will» is his debut film. Dastan Zhapar Uulu graduated from the Kyrgyz State Institute of Arts in the Theatre and Cinema Faculty. «A Father’s Will» is his debut film.
