In a small abandoned house in the Algerian countryside, Ouardia is back for the funeral of her son Tarik, a soldier killed by his own brother Ali, leader of an Islamist group. In this world contorted with pain and drought stricken, life is gradually back to normal. But Ouardia’s ordeals are not over : Ali, the acursed son, returns, seriously wounded.
