After years of working on an ‘estancia’ (isolated ranch) in Patagonia, Evans, an old foreman is forced to retire and Jara, a younger worker replaces him. The two men struggle to survive as the change is difficult and challenging for both of them. Each one must survive the oncoming winter and the confrontation between the two men is inevitable.
