Three officers sent by the Bey, arrives to a farming village to collect taxes. The villagers initiate the payoff sharing their goods but the bey’s messengers persist in humiliating them, infringing their dignity and honor, which triggered contestations.

Habib Meselmani, is born 1946 in Tunisia .He graduated from the Television and Radio Tunisian Center and the Press Institute .He then studied at INA. He directed over 2500 hours of TV fiction. «Rezk El Bey Lik» is his second feature film after « Sabra Wa Al Wahch ».
