But sometimes, it is difficult to live up to your own ideals: Christian’s foolish response’s to the theft of his phone drags him into shameful situations.

Ruben Östlund started with documentaries on skiing in the early 1990s and then studied cinema in the city of Gothenburg, where he graduated in 2001. With producer Erik Hemmendorff, he founded his own production company, «Plattform Produktion», who will accompany him throughout his career.
