Mmabatho has worked as a producer, broadcaster, development executive and script consultant for over 15 years. She has produced a variety of shows for broadcasters in South Africa and has worked as a script consultant on films such as This is not a Burial, It’s A Resurrection (2019 Venice Biennale College-Cinema), Kalushi (South Africa) and Beyond The River (South Africa). Her varied experiences are testament to her passion for retelling Africa’s story and finding ways to contribute to building a sustainable film and television industry. In 2017 she joined Urucu Media as a co-story consultant on their Pan-African writing residency programme, REALNESS. She was selected to participate as a script editor in the Torino Script Lab, 2018. Her passion for helping writers and producers find and shape their story has lead her to mentor in script labs in The Philippines (First Cut Lab), Maisha Producers Lab (Uganda), Jumpstart PRODUIRE AU SUD (South Africa) and Dramatic Producer’s Lab (Ethiopia).

Artistic director and programmer. After studying at the Universities of Paris and Padua for a degree in Foreign Languages, Literatures and Civilizations with a specialization in Philosophy, in 2001 she set up the production company Les Films du Saut du Tigre. From 2005 to 2009, she was responsible for the film-related activities of the Academy of France in Rome, and from 2011 to 2013, she was also Deputy Artistic Director of the Paris-based international documentary film festival Cinéma du Réel. From 2013 to 2018, Lili Hinstin was Artistic Director of the Entrevues Belfort International Film Festival in France. Since 2018, she has been Artistic Director of the Locarno Film Festival.

Film and visual arts curator and researcher, F. Clémentine Dramani-Issifou conducts activities between research and creation : programming, curatorial projects and research. From 2011 to 2017, she initiated and directed the Festival of New Documentary Cinemas straddling Paris, Porto Novo, Lomé and Phnom Penh. In 2012, F. Clémentine Dramani-Issifou coordinates the artistic program of the Biennial Benin. In 2018-2019, she is researcher in residence at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts (ESACM) in Clermont-Ferrand (France). In 2019, she took part in the Doctoral School of Thinking Workshops in Dakar, on the initiative of Achille Mbembe and Felwine Sarr and joined the selection committee for feature films of the Critics' Week, parallel section of the Cannes Festival . She is currently working on a PhD in Information Sciences and Communication in Sorbonne University (France) and Gaston Berger University (Senegal). Her research focuses on "African cinemas".

Based in Paris, Gladys Joujou is an editor-in-chief of Lebanese descent. Her work covers very different genres, ranging from big American productions to films by French authors and independent Arab films. She also works on award-winning documentary films at numerous festivals, such as: Ghost Hunting by Raed Andoni, Whose Country? by Mohamed Siam, Phantom Beirut by Ghassan Salhab ... Currently, she is finishing A Comedian in a Syrian Tragedy by Rami Farah.

Réalisateur, scénariste, monteur, acteur et producteur tunisien. Titulaire d’un DEUG d'histoire de l’art et d’une licence d’Etudes Cinématographiques (Paris VIII). Animateur de plusieurs ciné-clubs associatifs dans les années 80, il produit et réalise un premier court métrage en 1995, Marchandage nocturne, suivi en 1997 par Café Hôtel de l’Avenir. Il est l’auteur de scénarios pour la télévision Tel père, tel fils et pour le cinéma French Dream. Khorma (2002) est son premier long métrage, suivi de Tendresse du loup (2006) qui reçoit le prix du jury aux Journées cinématographiques de Carthage en 2006. En 2012, il entame sa trilogie Bidoun 1 avec un court métrage de 20 minutes, suivi par Bidoun 2 (2014) et Bidoun 3 (2018).
