Synopsis
The Cemetery of Cinema" traces the filmmaker's journey from Guinea to France in search of the lost copy of the first Guinean film, "Mouramani," directed by Mamadou Touré, which is also one of the early films of Sub-Saharan Africa.

A Guinean director, screenwriter, and producer, he holds a master's degree in documentary filmmaking. He created several short films during his studies. In 2015, he directed his first documentary TV film titled "Un homme pour ma famille." In 2016, he participated with his documentary project "The Cemetery of Cinema" in the 14th Rencontres Tënk co-production event in Saint-Louis, Senegal, and also in the Takmil workshop at the JCC 2021. The film received a special mention from the jury at Fespaco 2023.
