Mathieu Vadepied

Between 1991 and 1995, he directed a dozen video clips. In 1995, he worked as director of photography on Idrissa Ouedraogo's Samba Traoré and Jacques Audiard's Sur mes lèvres (2001 - nominated for Best Cinematography at the 2002 Césars). In 1996, he began working with Xavier Durringer as director of photography on two of his films: J'irai au paradis car l'enfer est ici (1997) and Les Vilains (1999). In 2000, he directed a documentary for Arte, L'Histoire de Bruno. In 2003, he shot Le Souffle and, in 2005, Mille Soleils, two short fiction films.
