Baha’a is ready to leave the wartorn city of Aleppo to return to his home town. He and his fellow travellers are forced to stop their journey because of clashes ahead. Complete strangers are stuck with each other, trying to bring life back to a village that has been destroyed and to wait out the war. Will it ever end?

Joud Said is a Syrian director, born in 1980 in Damascus. He qualified at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure, Louis Lumière, France in 2007. His short films include Monologue (2007) and Adieu (2008) and his feature films Once Again (2009), My Last Friend (2012), Waiting for the Fall (2015), A Man and Three Days (2017) and Rain of Homs (2017).
