A.B. Shawky is an Egyptian-Austrian film-maker. His short films The Colony, The Road to Atalia (2010), Martyr Friday (2011) and Things I Heard On Wednesdays (2012) were screened at festivals around the world. He studied Political Science and Film-making in Cairo and is a graduate of NYU Tisch School.
