Nutan calls himself Newton. He’s a graduate who is critical of certain traditions and is put in charge of a voting centre in a remote village in the centre of India. Although his task seems simple, he has to handle local features like the sceptical cooperation of the security forces whose job is to keep the Communist guerrillas away.
