Tehran: a young people’s detention/rehabilitation centre. The girls laugh, sing and lament. We gradually learn what crimes or transgressions have brought them there. Boredom with their lives, and fear of life outside, are the two poles of their lives. The film shows with great empathy the atmosphere in the centre and the moods of the cynical girls.
