60-year-old Joher comes for the first time ever to pay homage at her sister’s grave in Sidi Boulekbour. She meets our hero Ali, grave-digger and keeper of the cemetery, asking him to help her organise her own funeral. As they pass through the various stages of preparation, they discover feelings for each other.

Yasmine Chouikh, psychologist, actress, journalist and TV presenter, was born in Algiers in 1982. She wrote the screenplay for, and directed, two short films, El Bab (2006) and El Djinn (2010). Until the End of Time is her first feature film.
