Synopsis

In 1962, a young woman lost everything during the war for independence in Algeria. A Frenchman who is leaving the country offers his former home to her and her six children. An unscrupulous government official is trying to take the home away from her

Abdelkrim Bahloul was born in Rebahia, Algeria in 1950. He studied at the Conservatoire national des arts dramatiques of Algiers, then at the C.N.A.D in Paris. Bahloul studied cinema at IDHEC and settled in France in the 70s. He has directed 6 feature films.
