Karim Bessaissa was born in 1974 in Tozeur, he studied philosophy in Tunisia before going on to study cinema in Paris. He contributed in the filming of several television series as an assistant, as well as films such as "Flanders" Bruno Dumont and "black gold" by Jean-Jacques Annaud.
