Synopsis

Arab Andalusia, 12th century. Averroes, the renowned philosopher, establishes the precepts that will not only influence the Renaissance and the Enlightenment in the West, but also all human thought up to our times. The Caliph, El Mansour, wanting to cajole the fundamentalists, orders the burning of his works. Averroes followers decide to make copies of the manuscripts.
