Synopsis

Winnie and her family live on the fringes, near a desolate industrialized area of Dublin. This is the unflinching portrait of a marginalized community, often living in Third World poverty in a modern, prosperous Ireland. It follows Winnie through several weeks of her life, as she struggles with her identity.
