Synopsis

Despite the misgivings of his son Nejat, Ali, a widower, decides to live with Yeter, a prostitute, who is Turkish like himself. But Nejat soon becomes fond of her. Yeter’s accidental death drives the father and son further away from each other. Nejat goes to Istanbul in the hopes of finding Yeter’s daughter.
