Synopsis

On the border between Mongolia and China, peasants are leaving the land which is being taken over by desert. Hungai decides to stay and plant trees to save the steppe. One day, he meets two North Korean refugees, Soonhee and her son. They don’t speak the same language, but they will get to know each other.
