Synopsis

Return to Goree is an account of the voyage of African singer, Youssou N’Dour, who followed the path of black slaves and jazz, the music they invented. His challenge: to bring this jazz repertoire back to Africa and sing, in honor of the victims of slavery, at Goree, the island that symbolizes the slave trade.
