Synopsis

Fifty-year-old photographer, Mahmut, leads a monotonous and solitary life in Istanbul. He seems haunted by sacrifice and his artistic ideals. One evening, he finds himself obliged to welcome into his home a young relative who has left his village looking for work on a boat with the hope of going abroad.
