Synopsis
Amin, a young architect who lives in France, urgently
returns to Morocco to see his uncle who
is dying. Demanding answers to the questions
that have been tormenting him about his mother,
Amin plunges into the memories of his unhappy
childhood in spite of himself. His visits to
the hospital bring back his long repressed pain.
His childhood friend, Aziz, a carpenter, urges
him not to dwell on the past nor be resentful.
The death of his uncle does not appease his
torment; he must find the answers on his own.
