Synopsis
Alya, a 12 year-old girl, is digging an arid
patch of land. A police car approaches. The
police inform her that her older brother, who
was fulfilling his military service, has died in
an accident. Without waiting, Mouloud, their
father, braves all obstacles to recover his son’s
body. Their mother, Fatima, plunges into deep
sadness. The obstinate man knows that to give
up, in the Aures, is to die a little. Will this deeply
affected father, with the help of his daughter,
Alya, be able to bring a smile back on his wife
and children’s face?
