Synopsis

The portrait of a Moroccan woman, Fadma, engaged by the French Army as a prostitute to accompany Moroccan soldiers during the Indo-China war. The film shows how the French colonial army used sexuality as a weapon. Now, Fadma asks France to recognize her in the same way as the veterans, claiming that she also took part in the war effort.


THE DIRECTOR

Born in 1966 in Casablanca, Dalila Ennadre was raised in France. Between 1985 and 1996, she spent time in Guyana, Germany, Morocco and Canada.

This self-taught filmmaker directs documentaries, concentrating on portraits of women and their daily life.
