Synopsis
Choubra is an old, cosmopolitan neighborhood of Cairo. For many years, the people in this heavily populated area have been living under tension. Everyone hates and is afraid of Hatem, a corrupt policeman who controls the neighborhood he considers his personal territory, with an iron fist. Nour, whom he lusts after, is the only one who dares stand up to him. A young teacher, she lives with her mother and is secretly in love with Cherif, a brilliant, honest deputy prosecutor. Jealous, Hatem makes her life hell. Cherif leads the fight against him, and the people in the neighborhood, weary of repression are on the edge of a revolt…
