Karin Schyle studied History of Modern and Contemporary Art at Christie's Education in London, and then Cultural Management in Berlin. Based in Berlin, she has been cultural manager for international events and film festivals since 1998. In April 2012 she launched her own company, Schyle Filmwork, offering project management in a mainly film-related context. She now organises and runs the year-long training and competition programme for the Robert Bosch Stiftung Film Prize for international cooperation between Germany and the Arab world.

abih El-Khouri holds a Master's degree in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship from Goldsmith's, University of London. He has worked with the Metropolis Art Cinema in Lebanon and the Beirut DC cultural association as general coordinator for the Beirut Cinema Days. From 2014 he has been Program Manager for the Beirut Talents (the Arab world's equivalent of the Berlinale Talents) and is on the administrative board of the Metropolis Association. He is a programme planner for Alfilm, the Berlin Arab Film Festival, and oversees the Robert Bosch Stiftung Film Prize, as well as theme-based film programs on Arab cinema.

Kiva Reardon is a programmer at the Toronto International Film Festival and Miami Film Festival, and the founding editor of cléo journal. She curates the Redux section at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival. Previously, she's worked at the Doha Film Institute in Qatar. She has programmed the film series "Radical Empathy: The Films of Agnès Varda" (2018) and "Beyond Badass: Female Action Heroes" (2015), both for TIFF. A 56-year-old French-Cameroonian, Jean-Hubert Nankam studied International Commerce and Communication and, when TV5 Afrique was launched in the early 1990s, threw himself into audiovisual production. He set up Martika Production in 1993 in Paris and, back in Africa (Ivory Coast), the Martika Afrique Group showing documentaries, discussion programmes, talk shows, and TV series. His productions appear on 10 TV channels in French-speaking Africa, on TV5, A+, etc. From 2014-2016 he was a Consultant for Channel A+ and Co-founder of the Lagardère Group's Diffa Company. He is also General Secretary of the Convergence Association.
