Synopsis

This is not a portrait of my mother, or my memory or my house or my family. Yamo is a mixture of all these factors that lead us to cut a dialogue between two generations. It is a reflection on dreams, failures, present and future. I carry the weight of my generation. I carry the weight of the failure of my parents. I’m afraid to be like them.

Réalisateur

Born in 1982 in Lebanon, Rami Nihawi graduated in film direction from the Lebanese University. He has directed two short films D’une étoile and à titre personnel. He has also directed, shot and edited venger de l’astronaute, a 25-minute documentary in 2007. Rami lives and works in Beirut.
